Requirement Details


Renewal Date: Every 3 years

Hours required: 30 hours

Of those thirty (30) hours, eight (8) hours of mandatory hours are due for both Associate brokers and Qualifying Brokers (formerly Salespersons). The CE Shop does not offer the eight (8) hours of mandatory hours at this time.

 A minimum of twelve (12) hours in 'education' category and maximum of ten (10) hours in 'training' category. The CE Shop currently offers only fifteen (15) of the twenty-two (22) hours of electives and they are all in the 'education' category. All twenty-two (22) hours of electives may be taken in the 'education' category.

 The four (4) hour Qualifying Broker Refresher Course required of all active qualifying brokers must be completed as a condition of license renewal every three years. Currently, The CE Shop does not offer this course.

CE Shop Offering: 15 hours of electives in "education" category

Reporting: The state does not have schools report CE hours

Expiration date of course:Courses expire one year after the order date. 

Post Licensing: Associate brokers licensed for the first time on or after January 1, 2009 will be required to take a Commission approved, thirty (30) hour post licensing course during their first, three-year (3) licensing cycle. The course is in addition to the thirty (30) hours of approved courses all brokers are required to complete every three years as a condition of license renewal. The CE Shop currently does not offer the thirty (30) hour post licensing course.

 

Final Exams: Final exams must be passed with a 75% and may be taken as many times as necessary in order to pass. 

Certificates:  Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time.  Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
