The CE Shop is an approved school in Illinois, License Number-562.000241:

Renewal Date: CE for current salespeople will NOT be due in an odd year (2011) this renewal cycle due to the recent proposed rule changes to the IL Real Estate License Act of 2000. Please refer to the changes of the act or the IL Real Estate License Act Update FAQ or contact IL DFPR directly with specific questions about the Act. CE Shop Offering: 15 hours (9 electives and 6 of the 9 core/mandatory)

The CE Shop does not have any of the new pre-licensing courses, license transition courses or the proficiency exams.

ReportingReal estate course completions are recorded with the Illinois Division of Real Estate each business day. It may take 2-4 business days from the time we report your hours before the Commission updates your license and/or updates their website with the hours.

Expiration date of course: Courses expire one year after the order date. 

Final Exams: Per Illinois guidelines, all online CE final exams must be proctored. You will be allowed to attempt the proctored final exam on each of your courses twice (70% passing rate). If you fail the first attempt, you will be able to take a second attempt within 30 days of your first failed attempt.   • Per the state’s requirements for online CE courses, a licensee has two (2) attempts on the final exam. If the exam is not passed the second time, the licensee must repurchase and retake the entire course, including the final exam.

Certificates: Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
