If you hold a Salesperson’s license and this is your first renewal since original licensure, you are required to complete a 25 hour Commission approved post licensing course within your first year of licensure by the anniversary date of license issuance.
·The post-licensing course found in the catalog above will also count for six (6) hours of real estate continuing education for your renewal. You must complete an additional 18 hours of real estate continuing education during this renewal period of four (4) years. To view and order any of your additional required 18 hours of CE, select Continuing Education under Course Type above the Post-Licensing course listed above.
·There is a written final exam required for the post licensing course that needs to be taken with a proctor. Our team will help coordinate arrangements for the exam.
Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
Real estate course completions are recorded with the GREC each business day. It may take 2-4 business days from the time we report your hours before the Commission updates your license and/or updates their website with the hours.
Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process to ensure the reporting of your hours takes place. Georgia license numbers should be six (6) digits.
