Washington State Requirement Details for Real Estate Continuing Education
The CE Shop is an approved school in Washington: Code/Approval Number: S1633
Every two (2) years, 30 clock hours of Real Estate Continuing Education is required.
· Renewal dates coincide with the licensee birth date.
· Three (3) hours are mandatory courses. Currently The CE Shop does not offer a Core/Mandatory course for the next renewal cycle. The course is currently pending approval with the WA DOL; please check back periodically as we intend on having a core course available soon! Thank you for your patience!
· The Washington DOL requires that all students participating in distance (online) learning spend a minimum amount of seat time engaged in the course content. Our online course delivery system manages this requirement for our students.
· Real Estate licensees who received their first license before July 1, 2010 will qualify for their first active renewal by providing proof of completing both the 30 hour Real Estate Practices course and 30 hours of CE which must include a current core course AND the Transition course for a total of 60 hours. This Real Estate Practices and Transition courses are not offered by The CE Shop at this time.
Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process to ensure the reporting of your hours takes place. Washington license numbers should be seven (7) digits and usually start with zeros.
