Requirement Details


Oregon Real Estate Agency Certified Continuing Education Provider #-1015

Renewal Date: Every 2 years by the last day of the licensee’s birth month.

Hours required: 30 hours

If you have to renew your active license AFTER 01/01/11 you must complete a Board-approved three (3) hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC) from a Certified Continuing Education Provider (The CE Shop #1015) AND a minimum of twenty-seven (27) hours in approved topic areas under OAR 863-020-0035. You will self-certify on the License Renewal Form that you have met the continuing education requirements, and you will maintain the continuing education records after renewal of the license, including the completed Real Estate Licensee Continuing Education Record form and all certificates issued by Certified Continuing Education Providers.

CE Shop Offering: 30 hours

Reporting: The state does not have schools report CE hours.

Expiration date of course: Courses expire one year after the order date. 

Post Licensing: 30 hour post-licensing course required in the first renewal period. The CE Shop does not offer this course at this time.

If you are a broker who received their first Oregon real estate license after July 1st, 2002 and renew AFTER 01/01/11 you must complete both an Agency approved 30 hour Advanced Real Estate Practices (AP) post-licensing course AND the Board-approved three-hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC) before your first active license renewal. Principal brokers, sole practitioner brokers, and property managers are not required to take the AP course. Please contact the Oregon Real Estate Agency for more information on the AP course. The CE Shop does not offer the 30 hour AP course at this time.

Final Exams: Final exams must be passed with a 75% and may be taken as many times as necessary in order to pass. 

Certificates:  Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time.  Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
